Celebrating their ten year anniversary in 2024, DUST BOWL FAERIES perform a medley of dark cabaret and gothic polka music, infused with a dose of witchcraft and a dusting of woodland magic. This accordion driven freak-folk ensemble hails from the New York Hudson Valley and draws inspiration from circus music, murder ballads and Eastern European folk songs. Singing saw, piano accordion, electric bass and acoustic guitar combine to create the Dust Bowl Faeries' otherworldly sound.
Dust Bowl Faeries was founded by Ryder Cooley (faerie queen) and her taxidermy spirit animal, Hazel the Ram. Ryder is joined by Jon B Woodin (rocked faerie) and Jude Roberts (hobbit faerie) for this macabre performance at Widow Jane Mine.

GENTLEMEN CALLER is the synergy of indie folk musicians Jon B. Woodin and Jude Roberts. While sharing their respective talents as songwriters and multi-instrumentalists, they support each other with grace and wit.
Together they weave compelling melodies, with superb harmonies and a combined sense of humor that puts the audience at ease and makes them feel included; all of this is achieved while dressed in the most Gentlemanly fashion and sporting a dazzling array of chapeaux.
One performance on August 17th at 3PM. Tickets are $20. This is a fundraiser for Century House Historical Society.
Please dress warmly as the mine is a constant 55°. We have approximately 100 chairs for rent this year but feel free to bring your own chairs and blankets on the ground are also fine. Wear sturdy shoes for the walk to the mine on gravel roads. Please arrive 30 minutes early to allow time to park and walk to the mine.
