Following last year’s sold out run, on Bannerman Island and here, at The Widow Jane Mine, DRACULA returns in October 2025, with new casting, refreshed staging and all the thrill, drama & excitement you’ve come to expect form this classic, gothic tale! Set amid the backdrop of 1920s England, just outside of London, this is original Broadway script, of the iconic Bram Stoker novel, dramatized by Hamilton Dean & John L. Balderston (1927). Lucy, the beautiful, young daughter of Doctor Seward, the head physician at an English sanatorium, and fiancée of the dashing Jonathan Harker, has been attacked by a mysterious illness. Called in as a last resort, is Professor Van Helsing, a polymath scientist, who believes Lucy is the victim of a vampire a certain Count Dracula - while the lunatic, Renfield, a patient in Seward’s care, willingly becomes the Count’s thrall to do his bidding. Will Dracula be found, Lucy saved and this demon finally laid to rest?

Dracula and the Widow Jane Mine are a perfect marriage; the ambiance on stage and off is ideal. We enjoyed the rich performances and the entire production is as professional as you can get. This has become an annual tradition and we look forward to seeing it again next year! Carla Miller & Donna Blakemore (Bannerman Castle Trust)

John and I were so excited and grateful to be able to attend a performance of Dracula at Bannerman Island. We had so muchfun; it was a fantastic experience! Olivia Rutigilano & John Buffalo Mailer (New York, NY)
